Junior Jordann McDermitt had another solid race this past weekend, taking part in the Pre-Nationals Invitational, Oct. 15, against some of the top competition in the nation. McDermitt paced the Eagles in the team’s seventh-place finish at the meet, as EMU also defeated No. 22 Virginia, in addition to a number of teams receiving votes in the USTFCCCA coaches’ poll. Individually, McDermitt turned in an 18th-place finish after crossing the finish line in 20:32.
