I know that MACtion is often times limited to the football field and the SHOOTYHOOPS bonanzas, but MACtion takes a lot of shapes and forms and we at Hustle Belt celebrate them all. From the basepaths to the links, from the volleyball courts to the hurdels, wherever MACtion is we’ll be there. Even if it means a former MACtion All-American is heading to Taiwan to compete in the World University Games.
Such is the case for Miami RedHawk Amelia Strickler, who will compete in August in the international competition in shot put. Given her performance at Miami in her exceptional career, she’s got a good chance to land on the medal stand in Taiwan.
