AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron men's cross country squad garnered a pair of accolades as head coach Lee LaBadie and freshman Joe Rossetti (Stow, Ohio) earned honors when the All-Ohio Cross Country Awards were released on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
LaBadie was tabbed as the top coach for Division I after guiding the Zips to their best-ever finish at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 13, as well as a runner-up performance at the Mid-American Conference Cross Country Championship hosted by Akron on Oct. 31.
