ANN ARBOR -- Preseason prognosticators have spoken, largely predicting another 9 or 10-win season and third-place finish in the Big Ten West for Michigan.
But don't tell that to sophomore receiver Eddie McDoom. He's heard the outside noise and sees first-hand what is happening on the practice field.
Simply put, he's not buying it.
"We think we're going to win it this year," McDoom said Friday. "That's the mindset. You come in every season and you want to win. There's no, 'Maybe next year.' No, it's this year."
The frequent knock against No 9 Michigan has to do with its youth and experience.
