Wolverines unveil new but traditional look

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh had a simple set of instructions for the designers of the team’s new football uniform, recounting that message as “don't change a thing, but have at it.” That seems a fair description of what he got.

The Wolverines unveiled their new look on Tuesday afternoon at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant in Detroit, birthplace of the Model-T car, becoming the first college football program to don the Nike Jumpman logo. But aside from a change in branding, the overall look was not a drastic departure.

The away uniforms continued to have a 1970s throwback look that they did last season, white pants and all.
