ANN ARBOR -- Wilton Speight has one preference on the football field.
If it were always up to him, he's going long. Every time.
Michigan's redshirt sophomore quarterback isn't afraid to throw the ball deep. Like a lot of quarterbacks, it's what he prefers. Why kill them with several shots when you can get it all at once?
"That'll never change," Speight says. "Unless coach (Jedd) Fisch and coach (Jim) Harbaugh wants it to change. And coach Fisch loves living like that.
"And so do I."
Harbaugh has praised Speight's ability to throw the deep ball so far this season.
