Wagner stars as Wolverines bounce back strong

Michigan lost back-to-back games against Xavier and UConn, but bounced back strong on Thursday evening, claiming a dominant victory over Charlotte in the second round of action from the Bahamas. The Wolverines pulled away quickly, ultimately setting a record for points scored in the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament, winning 102-47.

“I’m proud of our team with the way we responded after last night’s disappointment,” noted Michigan head coach John Beilein. “For us to bounce back and play the way we did today was a good sign and a good step in the right direction.
