Dearborn Divine Child defensive end Aidan Hutchinson committed to Michigan on Tuesday, becoming the Wolverines’ third commitment in the class of 2018.
Hutchinson is the son of former Michigan linebacker and captain Chris Hutchinson.
He was a Detroit News All-Metro West selection last fall after recording 68 tackles and 11 sacks while helping Divine Child win a Catholic League title and reach the semifinals of the state playoffs by also playing offensive line.
“Aidan as a first-year offensive lineman dominated people with strength, power and technique while anchoring the left side of the line,” coach John Filiatraut said.
