Spike Albrecht is moving on from Michigan basketball.
The soon-to-be graduate student will likely spend his final year at another school.
"Both of us kind of moved on," Albrecht's father, Chuck, said tonight. "They're bringing in kids to fit their needs and Spike decided in the last few days to talk to schools."
A number of schools have called since the news of Albrecht's plans to transfer more than two weeks ago and, as he saw some of those schools filling those spots, he felt he needed to act.
So Albrecht will visit Purdue on Wednesday, a school about an hour from his Crown Point, Ind.
