Reports: U-M seeking assistants, shuffling staff

Less than a week before the start of spring practice, the Michigan football coaching staff remains in flux.

Secondary coach Greg Jackson departed for a similar job with the Dallas Cowboys, leaving U-M down an assistant. Now U-M reportedly has interviewed two people to replace Jackson.

Washington Redskins staffer Aubrey Pleasant is one, according to footballscoop.com, citing anonymous sources. Pleasant, a former Wisconsin player, spent the past three seasons with the Redskins, including the past two as a defensive quality control coach. He is familiar with Michigan, having served as a graduate assistant for two years, including working with the defensive backs in 2011.
