Quick hits from Jim Harbaugh's news conference

Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed that running back Chris Evans is dealing with a concussion but said it was too early to say whether he will be available to play Saturday against Michigan State (noon, ESPN).

“We’ll see,” Harbaugh said this morning during his news conference at the Crisler Center. “Little early to know yet. I think he’s doing good.”

Evans left in the first quarter of Saturday’s 41-8 win over Illinois after taking a hit to the helmet on a 16-yard run. He stayed on the ground after the hit but eventually walked off the field on his own.
