Opinion: Stop blaming Big Ten commish for postponing football season. Here's why

INDIANAPOLIS – Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren has not helped himself since his conference postponed the 2020 college football season, but if you’re going to read this story as a defense of Warren, stop reading now. This is a defense like Rutgers plays defense, and Rutgers allowed 37 points per game last season. Rutgers doesn’t play defense.

Sorry, Rutgers, but this is your fault. And it’s your fault, Michigan. And Ohio State and Nebraska and Penn State — especially you, Penn State. What’s happening here, the nationwide demolition of the Big Ten in the wake of its decision to cancel the 2020 season, is the fault of all 14 schools.
