Michigan nose tackle Bryan Mone is back on the practice field and could return for Saturday's game against No. 8 Wisconsin (3:30 p.m., ABC).
Mone suffered a knee injury in the season opener and hasn't dressed for a game since.
"He did some things yesterday, and we'll come back and look more today," coach Jim Harbaugh told WTKA-AM (1050) host Sam Webb. "(His status is) questionable."
U-M defensive line coach Greg Mattison is encouraged about Mone's return. But his teammates might be even more excited.
"Bryan has given so much to this program and to this defensive line," Mattison said today.
