Michigan WR Donovan Peoples-Jones already 'pretty freaky' in practice

Michigan football's most striking change may be at receiver.

Eddie McDoom is the leading returning receiver with his five catches from 2016.

After Friday's start of spring practice, everyone showed their skills, but true freshman Donovan Peoples-Jones apparently stood out.

"Donovan was doing things today that were pretty freaky and hopefully he keeps that up," U-M quarterback Wilton Speight said Friday. "They call it the catch radius, if the ball is way out here. I saw one today where the ball was going out of bounds and he just plucked it. Even some guys back where I was standing looked at each other.
