Michigan RBs coach Tyrone Wheatley hired by Jacksonville Jaguars

Jim Harbaugh has another offensive staff vacancy.

Michigan running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley was officially announced as the same position with the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight.

It will be a familiar move for Wheatley, who worked for new Jacksonville coach Doug Marrone twice, first in Syracuse from 2010-12 and then with the Buffalo Bills from 2013-14.

“I am excited to have Tyrone join our staff and work with our running backs,” Marrone said in a statement. “I have worked with him for five years and know the type of leader and teacher that he is.
