When he returned to Michigan -- and the college ranks -- to help Brady Hoke build a program in 2011, Mattison put on the same recruiting hat that saw him help Michigan and Notre Dame reel in top talent in the 90s and 2000s. The same one that helped Urban Meyer land Tim Tebow and a slew of other athletes at Florida.
Known as a top recruiter for years in college football circles, Mattison has lived up to that billing during his time at Michigan -- both with Hoke and Harbaugh.
