Michigan men’s basketball’s opponent set for 2021 Gavitt Games series

The Michigan Wolverines have a loaded non-conference schedule this upcoming season and have added another quality opponent to the slate. According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, the Wolverines will take on Seton Hall in the annual Gavitt Games series that pits the Big Ten and Big East conferences.

Andrew Kahn of MLive confirmed the game between the two teams and said that the take is set for Nov. 16.

Seton Hall went 14-13 last year and missed the NCAA Tournament after four straight trips prior to that.

Seton Hall is notable, of course, for being the team that Michigan defeated in the 1989 national title game.
