ANN ARBOR, MI - It might sound strange, Jamie Morris admits, but ballroom dancing has brought the former Michigan star back to his days on the gridiron.
Morris, the Wolverines' fourth all-time leading rusher, said the guidance he's gotten from his dance partner, Greta, for the upcoming "Dancing With the Michigan Stars" fundraiser has supplied him with the competitive fuel he needs to learn a new skill.
"She's been a wonderful teacher to the point that it brings me back to my playing days in the coaching that she gives me," Morris said. "She tells me the steps are all about muscle memory -- that's something Bo (Schembechler) or Tirrel Burton would say.
