It’s being reported that Michigan Wolverines defensive backs coach Greg Jackson has been successfully pursued and hired by the Dallas Cowboys to coach the safeties.
Fox Sports reporter Bruce Feldman broke the news:
#Michigan DB coach Greg Jackson is set to become the new safeties coach for the #DallasCowboys, source tells @FoxSports.

The same has since been reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
It didn’t take long for this to turn from a story of the Cowboys’ interest in Jackson to the Cowboys actually hiring him.
