Michigan Football: Rashan Gary Set to Explode in 2017

While the Michigan football team is counting on a lot of players to step up in 2017, maybe no one needs to step up more than Rashan Gary.

Gary, the top overall recruit a year ago, played significant snaps for the Wolverines as a freshman, notching 23 tackles, five tackles for loss and one sack.

At 6-5, 287-pounds, Gary has incredible skills. He can play defensive end, where he was at most of last season, but he can also play inside. Ideally, he would develop as an interior pass rusher.

He can rush off the edge, but would be more valuable if could rush from multiple spots.
