Michigan Football: Measuring Expectations For Rashan Gary

One of the biggest storylines heading into the 2016 Michigan football season is what true freshman Rashan Gary will be able to do as the most coveted recruit to come out of the recent signing class.

He’ll be an incredible defensive tackle if he lives up to only half of the hype surrounding him.

At 6-foot-5, 293 pounds, he’ll be a monstrous force on Michigan’s defensive line. Describing how quickly Gary moves for being such a big dude, Jourdan Lewis called it “unbelievable” and “mind-blowing.”

On just about any other team, I don’t think Gary’s immediate production would be a big question; it’d be all about how much.
