As the 2017 recruiting cycle continues to push forward in the offseason, rankings and ratings are also being tweaked. For Michigan football quarterback commit Dylan McCaffrey, that’s not a good thing.
McCaffrey, who was ranked as a five-star quarterback by 247Sports, was dropped to a four-star prospect after competing in the Elite 11 and The Opening earlier this month.
McCaffrey, the younger brother of Stanford standout Christian McCaffrey, is still ranked as the No. 2 pro-style quarterback in the 2017 class (behind Clemson commit Hunter Johsnon). He was a four-star prospect when he committed to the Wolverines in February.
