I’m not saying this because I don’t like Derrick Green (how could I have a reason?) or because he’s disappointed my expectations of him, but it would be in the best interest of both him and Michigan if the two parties went their separate ways once this season wraps up.
Green did not travel with the Wolverines to the Citrus Bowl. Harbaugh says it’s an “internal matter,” but I think most of us are capable of reading between the lines in this situation.
As a five-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Green was supposed to the future of the running back position at Michigan.
