Bits and pieces of Michigan’s 2016-17 non-conference basketball schedule trickled in throughout the offseason, but the complete picture was not revealed until Wednesday afternoon, when the program announced the opponents it will face in the early portion of the year.
The Wolverines start things off with an exhibition game against Cazzie Russell’s Armstrong State squad on Nov. 4, officially beginning the regular season one week later in a home matchup with Howard University.
Michigan will travel to New York on Nov. 17-18, facing off against Marquette and one of Pittsburgh or SMU in the 2K Classic Championship Round.
