Live updates: Utah comes out firing in 2nd half

Allen misses field goal after solid drive

The Michigan offense looked more decisive to start the second half, picking up three first downs through the air, but having to settle for a 44-yard field goal attempt that Kenny Allen sent just wide right.

The Wolverines got into scoring position when Jake Rudock found Amara Darboh over the middle for a 16-yard gain on third down and five. Rudock went 3-for-5 on the drive for 30 yards, but it stalled when Darboh went to the ground and the ball came out of his hands on third down.
