Jourdan Lewis not rooting for OSU in playoff

ATLANTA -- Jourdan Lewis wants to rise above it, but the near-miss in No. 2 Ohio State’s 30-27 double-overtime win over No. 3 Michigan on Nov. 26 still hurts.

So even though SEC teams often show unity during bowl season, the U-M senior cornerback has no plans to support his Big Ten brethren in their national title quest.

“I don’t know, they took our dreams away,” Lewis said Wednesday at the College Football Awards, where he is a finalist for the Thorpe Award. “That goes out the window when you’re talking about personal interest. They definitely took our dreams away, so I don’t think I’m rooting for them anytime soon.
