ANN ARBOR -- First it was a giant poster. Then a commemorative basketball. And now, John Beilein has a painting of himself to honor his 800 wins as a college basketball coach.

Tim Decker, a nationally-touring speed painter, produced a four-by-three-foot portrait of Beilein in just five minutes during halftime of Michigan's 56-37 win over Holy Cross Saturday night.

Decker took center court at Crisler Center and, with music playing, used both hands to paint Beilein's face. When he was done, he revealed "800" along the right side, honoring the coach's milestone victory in Michigan's previous game, Tuesday against Norfolk State.
