Harbaugh chucks for Chad charity

Ann Arbor — Tammi and Jason Carr have been motivated since before losing their five-year-old son Chad to Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) they would fight to find a cure.

Chad lost his life to the inoperable brain tumor in November 2015. His parents formed the ChadTough Foundation to raise money for DIPG research and held the first “Champions for Change” gala Saturday night at the Al Glick Field House.

There were more than 900 in attendance, including many former Michigan football players. Chad was the grandson of former Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr and All-American defensive back Tom Curtis.
