Former Michigan running back Derrick Green has officially transferred to TCU for his final year of eligibility, according to a university spokesman. He will be eligible to play immediately as a graduate transfer.
Citing sources, 247Sports' Jeremy Clark first reported the story Thursday night.
Green was granted his release from Michigan in January, after rushing just 47 times for 157 yards in 2015. He'll compete for more carries in the Horned Frogs' backfield, as last season's rushing leader - Aaron Green (no relation) - graduated after the season.
