Juwann Bushell-Beatty played very little football in his first 2 1/2 years at Michigan.
Redshirting as a true freshman in 2014 and playing only four games as a backup lineman in 2015, few thought he would step into a major role this season.
But after left tackle Grant Newsome suffered a knee injury midway through the Wisconsin game, Bushell-Beatty was thrown into the biggest game of the season.
He did enough to earn the start the following week at Rutgers, in front of his home-state fans in New Jersey.
And it appears he has established himself for the foreseeable future.
