Michigan Landing Top Kicker?
Harbaugh took an unusual recruiting approach for Quinn Nordin, the nation's No. 1 kicker. He had a sleepover at Nordin's house and Nordin later decommitted from Penn State. 247Sports reports that Nordin should end up picking Michigan.
Lavert Hill Sets Decision Time
Hill is a four-star CB that Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State are all pursuing. Today, Hill announced on Twitter that he would make his decision at 9 a.m. Hill's brother plays at Michigan and they are considered the favorites. However, several of Hill's friends are going to Michigan State and the Spartans could end up finding a way to land Hill. Wolverines And Devin Asiasi
Michigan has targeted a tight end this recruiting cycle, but has yet to land one. That might change on National Signing Day, reports 247Sports. Steve Wiltfong writes that he feels confident that Devin Asiasi commits to Michigan. The four-star TE visited Michigan Jan. 22nd and the Wolverines are now the Crystal Ball favorite on 247Sports. Asiasi is the No. 74 overall player and No. 3 TE. USC and UCLA are also in the mix for Asiasi.
Rashan Gary Down To Two
The nation's No. 1 commit is down to his final two schools. It's either Clemson or Michigan for Gary, his mother told Scout.com. Gary visited Clemson this weekend and his mother, Jennifer Coney, said the trip went well. Gary will make his announcement at 1:10 p.m. ET Wednesday on ESPNU. The Wolverines are the favorites, but the Tigers are still in the race. Missing out on Gary would be a tough blow for Michigan.
