Two-time captain, former linebacker Ryan taken by Packers in fourth round of NFL Draft

After two Wolverines were taken in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft on Friday, a third was selected Saturday.

Two-time captain and 2014 first-team All-Big Ten linebacker Jake Ryan was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round with the 129th overall pick. He becomes the third Michigan football player selected in the draft behind receiver Devin Funchess and defensive end Frank Clark, who were both taken in the second round.

After earning freshman All-Big Ten honors and becoming the anchor of Michigan’s linebacker group in his first two seasons, Ryan suffered a torn ACL in the spring of 2013.
