Sophomores show big gains in hoops roster release

It’s often the case that players make their greatest physical strides over the first year in the program as their bodies adjust to the college weight training and diet. That was certainly the case for John Beilein’s crew, now entering their sophomore years.

D.J. Wilson dealt with a number of injuries during his freshman campaign, ultimately forcing him to redshirt. That time away from the court apparently meant more time Jon Sanderson, as Wilson has gained a whopping 20 pounds over the last year. Likewise gaining 20 pounds was redshirt sophomore Duncan Robinson, who sat out last season due to NCAA rules after transferring in from Williams College.
