Michigan Football Rumors: Brady Hoke subtly nails OSU's Ed Warriner with insult

Brady Hoke wins the day in Michigan football rumors with a very subtle comeback directed at a one of his biggest detractors on the hated Ohio State Buckeyes' coaching staff.

Responding to OSU offensive line coach Ed Warriner's half-joking comments that he "heard some play books were stolen and Brady hadn't finished coloring them yet," Brady Hoke took the high road in gotcha fashion when asked if he had heard about Warriner's joke attempts --

“Obviously there’s enough people that keep you informed of what’s going on,” Hoke told Detroit's WTKA-AM, per Nick Bromberg of Yahoo Sports “The one thing around here is we try and always stay in between the lines. That’s important with how you handle your program.”

Warriner also came up with the not-so-based-in-truth "if you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em" dig, which makes no sense in light of the facts. The Wolverines have appeared in 20 Rose Bowls in program history, while the Buckeyes have appeared in just 14.

Ed Warriner also asked, albeit late, that his comments be stricken from Twitter. Unluckily for Warriner, his request went unheeded.
