Michigan Football Recruiting Update: Wolverines Offer 3-Star WR Grant Perry

Jim Harbaugh is still working around the clock to put the finishing touches on Michigan's 2015 recruiting class, and he's now offered another target - Bloomfield Hills wide receiver Grant Perry.

Perry was a highly-rated High School teammate of Wolverines QB Alex Malzone, but he committed to Northwestern in December when it looked like a Michigan offer would never materialize. Jim Harbaugh clearly feels that it isn't too late to flip Perry, who attended Michigan camps in High School and had been labeled as a likely Wolverine by recruiting analysts.

Malzone did his part in trying to bring Perry to Ann Arbor in December, but there was only so much he could do - at the time, Perry hadn't received a Michigan offer yet.

Perry is a 3-Star WR who 247 Sports rates as the #110 wide receiver in the Class of 2015. In addition to Michigan and Northwestern, he also has offers from a number of MAC schools including Ball State, Bowling Green, Kent State and others. The Wolverines re-ignited their interest in Perry not long after Harbaugh's introduction, and running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley has been Perry's primary recruiter.
