Michigan Football: Blake Countess Should Excel at Auburn

Michigan lost some of their secondary depth with the recent announcement that cornerback Blake Countess would be transferring for his final season of eligibility. Today he made the choice that he would be attending Auburn for the 2015 season. The Tigers struggled defensively last year but Countess should excel under new defensive coordinator Will Muschamp.

Countess has been at Michigan since 2011 and started 30 games over the course of his tenure in Ann Arbor. After a breakout season in 2013, Countess struggled last year as Michigan started to play more press coverage in the secondary.
