This past Wednesday the Detroit Lions held a workout for local draft prospects. There were 23 participants and it included both prospects who attended college in the state of Michigan and prospects who had attended high school in the state. There were four Michigan draft prospects who participated in the workout. The former Wolverines were Devin Garder, Raymon Taylor, Brennen Beyer, and Delonte Hollowell. All four not only played their college ball at Michigan, they also played high school football in the Metro Detroit area.
Devin Gardner is the lone workout participant from Michigan who has a chance to get drafted but the others have a chance as training camp invitees.
