Jaguars RB Denard Robinson Continues To Dig At "Little Brother" Michigan State

In this Michigan football news and rumors update, former Michigan Wolverines quarterback and current Jacksonville Jaguars running back Denard Robinson isn't done downplaying the Michigan State Spartans.

Per Pete Volk of SBNation and MLive.com, Robinson used an extremely familiar phrase when asked for his feelings about MSU's Rose Bowl victory last season:

"It did sting. But at the end of the day, the Big Ten won the Rose bowl. It was good that they won it, our little brothers won it, and pulled it out for the Big Ten."

If you're getting flashbacks, it's for good reason. Former Wolverines running back Mike Hart first referred to the Spartans as Michigan's "little brother" in a post-win press conference (the fourth victory in four tries during Hart's time at Michigan).

Robinson kept the dig alive last year when asked to rank Michigan's rivals over the years:

"Of course we've got to say Ohio (State's) the biggest one," Robinson said. "(Then) Notre Dame and (No. 3) Michigan State, our little brothers."

Once a Wolverine...always a Wolverine.
