When Jim Harbaugh stepped up to the podium at Big Ten Media Days in Chicago on Friday, he noted that creating a buzz among college football and the conference was not part of the motivation in what he does. Instead, he just wants to focus on coaching the game, and if that comes with great attention, so be it. But creating a buzz is exactly what Harbaugh seems to do wherever he goes.
The new Michigan coach has been the subject of constant attention since his arrival in late December, sometimes for things as small as his social media activity, stories from his son about putting Gatorade on cereal or going shirtless while instructing high school kids at a satellite camp.
