EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State redshirt senior Colby Wollenman was named to the Capital One Academic All-District 5 men's basketball team. The forward from Big Horn, Wyoming, owns a 3.98 overall GPA as a physiology (pre-med) major. First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
Wollenman has appeared in 22 games this season, averaging 6.2 minutes per contest. The forward sports a .500 mark from the field and .750 from the charity stripe this season.
