MSU lands Iowa kicker Cole Hahn for 2017 season

East Lansing — It appears Michigan State is not done with its 2017 recruiting class, adding a nationally ranked kicker with preseason camp set to begin in a little more than three months.

Cole Hahn of Des Moines, Iowa, announced on Twitter on Thursday morning that he accepted a scholarship to play for Mark Dantonio at Michigan State, flipping his commitment from Iowa where he was to join the Hawkeyes as a walk-on.

“First I want to thank my family, friends, coaches and the man above for this amazing opportunity that has presented itself to me in this past week,” Hahn posted.
