Third year MSU defensive line coach Ron Burton will be coaching against familiar faces on Saturday. Burton spent 10 seasons at Air Force (2003-12) as the defensive line coach before heading to East Lansing to join the Spartans.
“(This gives us a) huge advantage. Coach Burton, first of all, he gives us an accurate scouting report on each and every player really if they're juniors or seniors," head coach Mark Dantonio said. "He was either recruiting guys and had a feel for them or they were playing on the football team when they were younger. That's a tremendous advantage.
