Ever since Tom Izzo vowed to change his recruiting approach, albeit reluctantly, the Michigan State head coach has seen some of his top targets mentioned in national conversation. Miles Bridges is one of the guys who he is going after the hardest and he’s hoping current 2016 commit Nick Ward can help him out.

Well, the two are currently teammates for the USA Midwest squad in the Nike Global Challenge this summer and they joined forces to defeat Canada on Thursday afternoon, 100-85.
This is good news for the Midwest team, but even better news for Izzo and Ward.
