EAST LANSING — Michigan State might get one of its wing players back. The other remains out of uniform.
Junior forward Kyle Ahrens was in uniform and warmed up Monday afternoon for the sixth-ranked Spartans’ Big Ten showdown against No. 13 Maryland at Breslin Center. Tipoff is at 6:30 p.m. (FS1).
However, MSU coach Tom Izzo said on the pregame radio broadcast that if Ahrens plays after missing two games with a back injury, it might only be for “a little” against the Terrapins.
“Could play him maybe,” Izzo said. “Depends how he feels after warmups.
