EAST LANSING -- Nearly two months after they played their final game, Denzel Valentine, Bryn Forbes, Matt Costello and Colby Wollenman will all be leaving Michigan State for good soon.
The school's commencement will be held this weekend, after which the four will go their separate ways -- Valentine, Forbes and Costello will chase professional basketball careers while Wollenman will prepare for medical school.
But they'll leave behind a new standard that can be used going forward, according to coach Tom Izzo.
"They set a hell of a foundation," Izzo said Thursday in a speech to the Lansing Economic Club.
