Michigan State gaining steam with 2016 No. 1 RB Miles Sanders

Just a few weeks ago, three-star running back Abdul Adams decommitted from Michigan State and head coach Mark Dantonio was left to try and fill his spot with an equally, if not more, talented running back.

Sure, the Spartans don’t need to recruit a running back for 2016, but it’s always smart to have depth at the position just in case a guy like L.J. Scott decides to go pro early — which is a very high possibility given his ceiling. Also, the Spartans have other young backs like Gerald Holmes and Madre London for the next few years.
