Michigan State football offense needs 'better' game-planning, execution

EAST LANSING — Michigan State football’s offense is mired in an epic downturn.

Some of it is injuries, specifically at quarterback. Some of it is on all-around poor productivity, some of it disjointed execution.

The answers are complex, coach Mark Dantonio said Tuesday, but the desired outcome is simple.

“We need to be better,” he said.
