Michigan State football is facing a tough matchup against Northwestern in Week 7. A few weeks ago, this game might have been looked at as a clear victory, but after going from No. 8 in the AP Poll to three straight losses and an unranked distinction, the Spartans face a must-win.
Sitting at 2-3 with seven games left on the schedule, two of which come against Ohio State and Michigan, the Spartans are going to need to take advantage of these types of games against inferior opponents. Northwestern is also 2-3 after a 10-win season in 2015 and the Wildcats need a win just as badly.
