ANN ARBOR -- Cody White is listed as a slot receiver and defensive back on the Walled Lake Western roster.
He's committed to Michigan State as a three-star target.
But on Thursday, White slid into the starting quarterback job after his teammate John Tracy was sidelined with what his coaches are calling a "stomach thing." And it couldn't have gone much better.
White completed 10-of-13 passes for 171 yards and four touchdowns -- in the first half. He added three rushes for 33 yards and a touchdown before being sidelined for the rest of the game with a cushy 41-0 lead over Farmington.
