Michigan State coach Tom Izzo is focused on improving the Spartans' rebounding to snap a three-game losing streak when Minnesota visits Saturday.
EAST LANSING – Michigan State co-captain Joshua Langford underwent successful surgery on his left foot Thursday, coach Tom Izzo said.
Izzo, after the ninth-ranked Spartans’ practice in preparation for Saturday’s game against Minnesota, said he texted and talked to his junior shooting guard FaceTime before his operation.
“I just feel for the kid, man,” Izzo said after practice Thursday. “He did an unbelievable job of handling it, including being the water boy for us.
